BLKHEX (pronounced Black Hex) is a Seattle based jewelry company found in 2017 by Brandon and Diane Ilenstine. Diane's background in aesthetics and the fashion industry and Brandon's background as an Art Director and working artist has been the catalyst for BLKHEX's existence.
Brandon's love for wood and Diane's love of crystal and a combined passion for unconventional natural materials and oversized avant-garde jewelry have served as the driving force for moving the brand forward. All pieces are one-of-a-kind and hand made by Brandon and Diane.

Product
All BLKHEX pieces are comprised of hand selected minerals and exotic wood. The marriage materials create bold statement pieces that harness the beauty and energy of each stone.
Every geological specimen is hand selected and one-of-a-kind. Though there is no exclusivity on what kind of specimens BLKHEX uses, they drawn to quartz, smokey quartz, pyrite, and amethyst not only for their beauty, but for their meta-physical properties.
BLKHEX uses no stains or varnish on their wood, therefor they use woods rich in color, pattern, and texture. African Blackwood, Ebony, Cocobola, and many other specialty exotic ethically sourced woods are among the most used in pieces.
